The meeting, organized by the member for South Guadalcanal David Dei Pacha, brings together the chiefs, church and women leaders of South Guadalcanal to discuss a planned reconciliation on the 7th December.

"This morning we aim to identify common stands on various issues to be discussed during the reconciliation meet" Mr Pacha said. "At the end of this Programme, we will come up with the final resolution of the proposed reconciliation in December"

The meeting is being held at the Solomon Islands Christian Association facility in Honiara.
