The Tulagi BTS was commissioned on the 21st October and system tests were carried out successfully last week.
The Breeze Mobile Service will be available for sale at Tulagi Telekom office commencing 5th November. However, those who own mobile phones can now use the service at Tulagi.
GSM mobile service coverage area covers an average of 25 kilometers from the base station, which means most surrounding rural communities would also enjoy mobile services.
Our Telekom continues to expand its GSM mobile coverage to the provinces with GSM mobile base stations at Auki, Gizo, Munda, Noro, Tetere, Gold Ridge and now Tulagi.
