This comes after weeks of massive public outcry over the controversial decision by the Finance Minister to release a tugboat owned by Earth Movers. The tugboat was said to have brought in goods to the country illegally.
Dr Sikua says the issue has been addressed and resolved at the caucus level and he is satisfied that the matter has been addressed within government.
He says when the education Minister Mathew Wale returns from a trip to Hawai'i, the government will reconcile differences between Mr Wale and Mr Rini over the public clash they had last Friday on the tug boat affair.
Dr Sikua says that it is incorrect to say that the Finance Minister was acting in contempt of court as reported by the media.
Government Accepts Finance Minister's Explanation
Prime Minister, Derek Sikua, says the government Caucus is satisfied and has accepted the explanation given by Finance Minister, Snyder Rini.
