Mr. Dausabea made the accusation in Parliament yesterday, producing a letter in which he claims was written by a member of the Opposition using former militants to fabricate information to Police against him and Prime Minister, Manasseh Sogavare.
He told parliament that a former militant had admitted to him last week on "carrying out orders from people in higher places". Mr. Dausabea called on members of parliament to refrain from resorting to "unusual techniques" to tarnish the images of other members just to get rid of the government.
He said police should be allowed to carry out investigation on evidences rendered freely, reminding MPs "government are selected and ousted" on the floor of parliament and not through "unwarranted schemes".
Speaker of Parliament, Sir Peter Kenilorea, requests for copies of the letter to be distributed to other members of parliament.
