Talking to the National Radio yesterday evening Mr Kaua stated that the rumors' being spread about him being critically ill is false. "My condition has improved and I am now able to walk. Everything is alright, and whoever is spreading the rumors' must stop doing it."

Mr Kaua reportedly fell ill during his recent trip to Washington DC. Upon arrival Mr Kaua has not been able to return to work, which fueled rumors that he is seriously ill. Minister Kaua says he is recovering at home and will soon resume duty.
