RAMSI and Solomon Islands Police Force officials yesterday went to Fishing Village in East Honiara and questioned them about an alleged payment made to the people of Fishing Village by Mr. Dausabea to riot.
The East Honiara MP has contacted the Deputy Police Commissioner, Mr. Peter Marshal, to deny the allegation, and further expressed his disappointment about how Police has conducted its information gathering and investigation.
Mr. Dausabea has called on Police to carry out careful and balanced investigation into such allegations and must substantiate them.
As a law abiding citizen and a Member of Parliament, Mr. Dausabea has called on RAMSI and Police to be neutral.
Dausabea Denies Claim of Payment to Riot
