Ashley, who faces 29 counts of conversion and one count of money laundering, appeared in the Honiara Magistrates court yesterday.
The Solomon Star reports that the prosecution is yet to disclose documents that were requested by Ashley's lawyer at a previous appearance.
The documents include a police station diary and e-mail correspondence between local police and the Australian Federal Police.
SIBC News understands Ashley is claiming the AFP was involved in his arrest and prosecution.
Ashley is alleged to have misused $1.2 million dollars he held in trust for clients.
He is also said to face a civil suit in the High Court over the same matter.
Principal Magistrate Makeo Gauli told the prosecution to provide the documents to the defence before October 19.
Charles Ashley Case Adjourned
The case of prominent Honiara lawyer Charles Ashley is further adjourned to October 19 because his lawyer is asking the prosecution to disclose some more documents.
