Chairman, Mike Hemmer says the chamber is also concerned for the loss of investor confidence such incidents may have caused the country.
Mr Hemmer says although there are no facts to suggest the fire was the work of arsonists, what happened spoils the country's future in terms of investor confidence.
He says every time an action like this is recorded in the world press, every body becomes frightened of Solomon Islands.
Mr Hemmer says that is not something the country deserves because Solomon Islands is a much better place to live.
