Other reports from within the provincial administration says Premier Vasuni has also given the sack to all of his executive government ministers.
The Premier's move comes a day after reports from Tulagi had suggested his provincial ministers are defecting and want his removal.
However the sacked Deputy Premier Samora says the reports have been exaggerated.
Mr Samora says a letter written to the Premier was only requesting him to release their provincial ward grants - it was not a letter to threaten the government.
