This was the description of the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Hon. Connely Sandakabatu as he watched the cattles being off loaded onto the shores of Fox Wood, east of Honiara.
Hon. Sadakabatu stated that this has been a proud moment for his ministry and the key stakeholders who worked tirelessly to ensure this National project became a reality.
He stated that the hard work and travel to and from Vanuatu over the past few months have finally paid off.
Mr Sandakabatu said, the positive outcome was the result of the cooperation between colleague ministers and the Government of the Republic of Vanuatu.
He says that the total cost of the animal and transportation from Vanuatu is more than two million dollars.
Cattles Arrive in Solomons
A proud moment was made yesterday when four hundred cattles from neighbouring Republic of Vanuatu were off loaded onto the Solomon Islands shores.
The Cattles will be kept at FoxWood, east of Honiara.
