In Ysabel Province, as the Buala Police gear up for the National General Election, more than 20 officers have been additionally rostered to the various polling stations across the province. They will also be supported by the Participating Police Force Advisors posted in Buala.
Superintendent Manelusi said that his officers are prepared and will be out in force to provide security and policing services to the communities during the election period.
"The current security operation leading up to the National General Election is to ensure that this important event goes on peacefully and without any disruption," he said.
"I appeal to people living and working in Isabel Province to exercise their democratic rights and participate in the election peacefully and allow it to go on smoothly," Superintendent Manelusi said.
