Solomon Times was informed that Sunday's 'Easter Fun Day' was part of Paoa FM's continuous promotion on significant events.
Families and friends who did not have plans for the long Easter weekend gathered at Lela Beach for a whole day, away from the hustles and bustles in town.
Speaking with one of the attendant during the celebrations, Harry Toli said that the party attracted a lot of people to the beach.
"The beach was jam-packed and there was games and live entertainment from One Drop band throughout the day," he added.
As part of the fun-filled day that started 9am and finished 5pm, raffle tickets were drawn and great prizes were up for grabs.
"It was a very good idea to occupy families and friends, to spend some time out with each other and it was evident that all in the crowd really enjoyed it," Mr. Toli said.
