Making this appeal,Solomon Airline General Manager Commercial Services, Gus Kraus, said it is very important that Solomon Airlines seek the support of the government and public.
Mr. Kraus said Solomon Airline is proud to be the national flag carrier but is concerned that a lot of people are using the services of other airlines which is not good in terms of competition.
He said, unlike foreign owned airlines which are around only in good times, Solomon Airlines is here to stay.

The national flag carrier, Solomon Airlines seeks government and public support as it signs a new five year contract agreement with Strategic Airlines, ending it's current lease agreement with Our Airlines.
