Our Telekom spokesman, Laurance Nodua said today that they are still in the first phase of the mobile project, which was hoped would improve mobile coverage and reliability.

He said it is a new system and they are still figuring out how it works.

Mr Nodua also said that 'Our Telekom' is not concerned about the prospect of losing customers to Be-Mobile once the rival company launches it's mobile service.

Mr Nodua said that as competition increases in Solomon Islands mobile telecommunications industry, 'Our Telekom' will also look at expanding it's interests in other areas.
