It is often seen as a normal practice in Solomon Islands politics for the government to change without completing its term and even implementing its policies. Good government with sound policies emerge but lack of support from our very own representatives is a contributing factor to that. New governments emerge and pass through without completing its term and policies. This kind of system will never take our country forward. Our leaders need to think seriously at this trend because it seems that the rural people really cannot benefit from any government policies. Just now we are seeing the Opposition and defectors trying to form a new government. It is interesting to hear through the media that about 28 MPs signed the MOU, the question is what will happen to those who do not get the Ministerial posts?
